Stationary Series ~ Great for beginners! These 28 poses are designed to work every system of the body. Alignment is emphasized, muscles are strengthened and toned, flexibility is increased and breathing and relaxation techniques are integrated throughout the class.

The beauty of this practice is that its accessible to beginners who are taught proper alignment and its a good challenge for intermediate and advanced students who work the poses at a deeper level.

It is a devotional practice ~ the poses are always the same even though each experience on the mat is a new one. All levels

Flow
~ We offer three different levels of flow classes; intro, light and intermediate. All begin with a few sun salutations to warm the body during which each movement is merged with the flow of breath. After the vinyasa (series of poses strung together) warm-up the practice moves into strengthening poses, balance, core, hip openers, spinal twists and more. This is a more energetic and aerobic practice than the stationary class, however it is still open to beginners at the Intro level.

*Stationary and Flow classes are complementary: After strengthening and working alignment in a stationary class one is more equipped to practice in a flow class which will then offer further strengthening and increased stamina. Mindful movement and the release of muscular tension in
blocked areas such as the hips and shoulders are emphasized in both classes.

Gentle Yoga ~ Restore, relax and enliven at the end of your week with this light practice. Whether you're an experienced yogi wanting to deepen your stretch or a beginner looking for a slow-paced practice, this class is for you.

Mindful Yoga~ This class begins with gentle poses that slowly release tension throughout the body and concludes with 15-20 minutes of meditation. Experience inner peace as you relax and explore a variety of meditation techniques.

WORKSHOPS

Brand New Beginner Yoga ~ Learn the poses of The Stationary Series with careful and comprehensive instruction. Gain a new awareness of your body as you tone muscles, increase energy and reduce stress. Sessions run twice a week for four weeks.

Yin Yoga ~ A cool, quiet, passive practice that works on the deep, dense connective tissues of the body by doing a variety of long-held (3-5 minutes) poses. Benefits include the removal of energy blocks in the body, the lengthening and release of tendons and fascia, healthier/stronger bones and ligaments, and increased joint flexibility.

Couples Yoga ~ Relax and strengthen with your partner! This is an all level class that will guide you through basic poses as you balance your relationship and have fun. Couples will also be instructed in Thai massage techniques using passive stretching along energy lines. This session runs for four weeks.

Fun Flow ~ Non-competitive yoga postures and stretching games that include lessons on focus, balance and coordination. Yoga helps to bring active minds into union with active bodies and teaches new ways to relax and calm oneself as well as setting the foundation for a lifetime of well-being.

Mommy and Me Yoga ~ Bring your young ones to enjoy some yoga fun! Connect with other parents as you join with your child through stretching and relaxation. During the workshop with babies through 18 month olds,  parents can practice yoga poses while keeping babies entertained. The workshop for 2-4 year olds offers a great way for preschoolers to learn coordination and focus through play with you. Dads are welcome too!
