Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a cool, quiet, passive practice that works on the deep, dense connective tissues of the body - the fascia, tendons, cartilage, and joints by doing a variety of long-held (3-5 minutes) poses.

Almost all poses are performed seated or lying down so there is no interference from the muscles.

The benefits of Yin yoga include the removal of energy blocks in the body, the lengthening and release of tendons and fascia, healthier/stronger bones and ligaments, and increased joint flexibility resulting in an increased range of motion.

This class is not appropriate for at least 8 to 12 months after giving birth.

* we have a limited number of bolsters and blankets so feel free to bring your own.
